I am looking for the instruction manual for the Quantaray PZ-1 DSZ for canon electronic flash eBay: Take. The PZ-1 DSZ is the same as the Promaster 7000m. I am using a Pz-1p with a Promaster FTD 7000M flash as a slave unit (triggered by the built-in flash). The camera manual says that exposure compensation can be set with either the built-in unit or a mounted one. But it says nothing about how a slave strobe is handled. If I set a fill-flash compensation (-1.
I know this post is originally from years ago and i dont know that youll ever see this but I was able to acuire the same flash for $25 as well from a local photo store that was changing owners. I couldnt find much info on it for the longest time. Ive had it for about a year now. The one i purchased is a Nikon dedicated that i use with my Canon 450D (as an off camera radio triggered flash only!) ive used it on the hotshoe and it locked up my camera once. I also got its little brother, the full manual promaster FT1700 for $5!!! Anyway thanks to your review because i now know the big brother has a slave function so i can trigger it with the little guy from the hotshoe.

Since the smaller flash is a non-dedicated manual flash i can use it on the camera for some fill light and what-not. For whatever reason i never experimented with the big flash and its modes. I just always used it in the manual mode and triggered via radio releases. Thanks again!
And thanks to this tread i can invest in a modest upgrade from the little brother and have two relatively powerful flashes! Cheers - Cheers. Cheers to what we possess within ourselves.
Cheers to the possibilities of this day.
